Corporate Responsibility
The ICEX Ltd Corporate Responsibility Policy is designed to balance the needs of employees, customers, the environment and business. It covers a range of issues including fair-trading, employee and public rights, best environmental practices, legislation and Health & Safety.
Anti-Corruption
ICEX Ltd is committed to trade ethically with its customers and suppliers, and will maintain high standards of business integrity. This stance will apply to all aspects of our business. ICEX Ltd will not offer or accept incentives or inducements that could influence the outcome of a business transaction.
ICEX Ltd expects all people and organisations associated with it to be honest and fair in their dealings with the Company and with its clients and suppliers.
Proper business entertainment of existing and prospective clients is acceptable but will be restricted to an appropriate level and will be noted openly in ICEX Ltd records.

Environment
ICEX Ltd has a Waste Management Licence and a Waste Carriers Licence issued and regulated by The Environment Agency. Our Environmental Management System (EN ISO 14001:2004) is accredited by BSI.
ICEX Ltd, its directors, employees and contractors will at all times comply with all applicable legislation and best practices relating to the environment.
Through our EMS we will maintain and implement procedures, will evaluate effectiveness against expectation and target through the management review procedure.
Health & Safety
ICEX Ltd complies with “The Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1974” and subsequent provisions. We have a H&S committee made up of representatives from all areas of the company. The committee will meet twice a year plus any other time that the operation dictates.
Improvements are made through risk assessment, suggestions and review. Health and Safety is discussed once a month at board level to ensure commitment throughout the company.
Charity
ICEX Ltd supports charities including the Farleigh Hospice and Essex Air Ambulance, and we donate equipment to auctions that ultimately benefit individuals that require specific treatment. We support local events and assist our customers with their charitable donations.
Volunteering
ICEX Ltd encourages its employees to participate in local events and was successful in setting up an Internet Café in the middle of a field at a recent Scout Jamboree.
